This week on People On The Grid, we met with Dr. Anna Bach Faig, a Professor of Public Health Nutrition at the Open University of Catalonia. Starting as a pharmacist, she explains to us how quickly she developed an interest in the relationship between food and well-being.
Her research focuses on the Mediterranean diet, its advantages, health benefits and ways of consumption. Most Mediterranean diets include high consumption of vegetables and olive oil, and moderate levels of protein. Anna sees the relationship between food and well-being as working hand and hand. Health affects every aspect of the patient.
