For the first time, Barcelona will host the Extreme Sailing Series, otherwise referred to as the ‘Formula 1 of Sailing’. The series will be the 11th edition of the competition, which travels across multiple cities each year and draws in the best sailors from around the world. For four days, Flying Phantoms will race along Barcelona’s coast at 10am, followed by GC32s from 2pm until 7pm, as the city is filled with various sailing activities open to all. There is also the chance to soak up the atmosphere whilst mingling with prominent sailors of the Extreme Club or sailing aboard a flying GC32 with the variety of VIP packages available for sailing enthusiasts.

Fleadonia is a secondhand market in the Raval organised by the Asociación Cultural Freedonia. Established in 2012, there are plenty of bargains to be found, with stalls offering vintage and handmade goods as well as designers and painters selling their original wares. Held on the first Sunday of each month, the market is also associated with El Flea.
