In this week’s, People On The Grid Podcast, we chatted with Pablo Bermejo and Baptiste Vilanova from La Moodstore, which is concept store involving design, drinking and eating. It’s a great hidden place to be discovered in the El Born barrio.
In this People On The Grid, we met with Jenna Mann, who chatted with us about Art Therapy, a therapeutic process that uses art as a tool for a means of expression. She discussed the stigmatization surrounding mental illness, and how making alternative therapies, such as art therapy, more accessible to a broad range of people helps in breaking stigmas world wide.
In this, People On The Grid, we chatted with Steven Pineda and Héléa Khaizourane from Pentagon Wave, a social enterprise that aims to level cultures and to unit generations for greater experiences in life. They developed Enquiry, which can be described as the union of different fields to help conflict resolution and mental balance. It is a powerful tool in the form of a card game that can create experiences of peace, respect, and acceptance and it aims to build the future generation of warriors of peace.

In this People On The Grid, we get to know Alexia Chellun, a singer-songwriter who is launching her new album called ‘Open’. With her soothing and relaxing voice, she performs for us acoustic versions of her latest songs: “All That Remains”, “Open” and “Take Your Destiny”.
This week we met with Benedicte Bodard from Mesa Bonita. She chatted with us about the importance of upcycling, and about giving old items a second life. Her work for Mesa Bonita consists of reusing old floor tiles and turning them into practical and beautiful pieces of art, such as tables and coasters.
Tucked away on a back street in the barrio of Gràcia, is the hip artisan café SlowMov. At SlowMov they serve freshly roasted and specially crafted coffee, that promotes the philosophy of ‘collaboration within societies’.
In this week’s People on The Grid, we interviewed Barbara Montaner Vega; we talked about the concept of Digital Diet. Her former job in New York City as an IT lawyer gives her a sturdy base for her consultancy business that she created a few years ago, that gives digital solutions.

In this week’s People On The Grid, we discuss food waste with Sofie Amalie Damkjær Østensgård from WeFood. WeFood is located in Denmark, and it is the first food surplus supermarket there. It was opened through an NGO Charity, that saw the high amounts of food waste in the country as a problem that could be fixed.
