Fun, motivational and useful!This introduction to data analytics will allow each student to explore business data using Machine Learning algorithms and get to grips with how real data analysts operate on a day to day basis. This course is split into five, four-hour mornings of task-based challenges. Each challenge will be overseen by industry-experienced mentors, so should you get stuck, they can help you out.This program is suitable for people interested in picking up data analytics as a profession, and who are curious to know what types of tasks are involved. The course aimed at absolute beginners who are interested in a more immersive approach to improving their current skills.
We’ll celebrate at the end, demonstrating your work over some beers and buffet! We’ll also have some fun talks and discussions from people involved in the Barcelona Tech scene.

Fun, motivational and useful!This introduction to coding will allow each student to build their very first website and get to grips with how real developers operate on a day to day basis. This course is split into five, four-hour mornings of task-based challenges. Each challenge will be overseen by industry-experienced mentors, so should you get stuck, they can help you out.

The first masterclass for technology, data and team management leadership provides tips and tools for improving human capitals within companies. The event includes a series of conferences from experts in the field of People Management, discussing motivational leadership, Smart People Management, and managerial trends. Guest speakers include Jaume Gurt, former CEO of Infojobs, Mangel Giraldo, Director of Aigües de Barcelona, David Claramunt, Communications Manager of SABIS (Banc Sabadell Group) and more. The conferences are followed by a brunch.

Discover tips and tools for creating a successful WordPress website with the Barcelona Code School’s latest workshop. The course takes you from beginner to professional in just two days, allowing you to start building websites straight away without needing to code. Students can learn about installation and setting up of WordPress, creating categories and tags, building structure, selecting themes and plugins, connecting to Google Analytics, SEO for WordPress and much more. It also features useful tools for converting WordPress websites into professional online stores using WooCommerce plugins, making the workshop educational and beneficial for entrepreneurs.

Overall, the workshop not only aims to build your knowledge of WordPress, but to make your website stand out from others. Groups are limited to four students, allowing for tailored and fast learning.

Young, international entrepreneurs from Barcelona Technology School will present their innovative digital solutions at the Mobile World Centre. Their projects aim to show how digital technologies can effectively transform economies. Learn about Drinkee, which connects small shops through an online marketplace and allows customers to purchase drinks at any time of the day, or Kitches, which was designed for people wanting home-cooked dinners but lack the time or skills to make them, they can then be connected to a chef via the online platform. There will be various presentations addressing different sectors and economies throughout the day.
