Today on the show we are presenting the second episode of Art Lovers On The Grid. We will be talking to Karina Gratze, also known as Karosquare in her artwork, who is a German artist from Cologne who is now living here in Barcelona. After obtaining her degree in Graphic Design, Illustration and Communication in 2012 from the Rhein-Sieg-Akademie in Hennef, Germany, she moved to London and was inspired to pursue her artistic interests. Karina uses various techniques like calligraphy, screen printing, drawing and collage in her art. Tune in today to learn about Karina’s journey as an artist and what inspires her work.

Music Al Terrat is a program organized by two women and arranges concerts on different private rooftops around Barcelona. The concerts are so secret that you actually need to register for them to receive emails about their secret venues. It was first created around folk sessions on the roofs of the city and then diversified its activity organizing night concerts (folk, indie, pop, rock, electro) in theaters of Barcelona. At their events, they serve vegetarian food and some drinks that are all handmade by Sylvia herself! ArtSpace is a collective of creatives brought together by a mutual love of arts, culture, and history that have dedicated their time to share their passion with others. They host a variety of art and gallery walks, photography workshops, and art events offered by professional photographers and art experts. The goal of this interactive project is to give locals and tourists alike, a general overview of the art scene in Barcelona.
