Join a guided tour of the Fundació Joan Miró, designed by local architect Josep Lluís Sert and opened in 1975. The tour, which is run by a group of local architects, El Globus Vermell, delves into the style and techniques adopted by Sert that established him as a key figure of Catalan avant-garde architecture. Visitors can explore the impressive courtyards, terraces and exhibition rooms of the museum to unravel the secrets of Sert’s ingenious designs, from his use of lighting to the unusually juxtaposed interior and exterior that is typical of his style.
